Scott Taylor, 66, of Stanford, KY passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, November 1, 2023. Born on December 23, 1956 in Stanford, KY to the late Anita Killen Taylor. He was a graduate of Crab Orchard High School, Class of 1974, which was the last class to graduate. He worked for Phillip's Lighting before his retirement in 2011. He enjoyed being in the outdoors, loved to fish, hunt, shoot guns, tell tall tales and running beagles. Scott loved his family dearly, especially his grandchildren. Alissa Lee Francis Horseman, 73, of Stanford, KY passed away on Friday, October 13, 2023 at Baptist Health in Lexington, KY. Born on July 10, 1950 in Stanford, KY to the late Cabell D. And Helen Juanita Carroll Francis. Alissa dedicated her life to the care and love of both her family and the minds of countless young students. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and teacher, Alissa's legacy is one of love, education, and faith.
