Charlie was born October 2, 1931 in Berkeley County, a son of Marion Lynwood Oliver and Bernice Alsbrook Oliver. A loving and devoted husband, Charlie and Barbara shared 68 years of marriage and were the parents of two sons. He served his country in the US Army and was a retired Superintendent of Transmission at Santee Cooper, having been employed there for 39 years. Catherine Mahala Blackmon, age 100, passed away peacefully on September 18, 2020 at the Summerville Community Hospice House. Kitty, as she was known to everyone, was born in Moncks Corner, SC on November 27, 1919. She graduated from the newly restored Berkeley High School and worked at the Berkeley Restaurant for over 18 years. Her favorite hobby was deer hunting and her greatest love was for family and friends. Gaskins and Juanita Brandon Gaskins. A graduate of Macedonia High School, Mederia attended Berry College and was the owner of Gaskins Drywall. Richard Alan Hyrne, 68, of Moncks Corner, widower of Diane Wickert Hyrne, passed away Monday, August 31, 2020. Richard was born July 6, 1952 in Berkeley County, a son of Claude W. Hyrne and Joyce Rudloff Hyrne. A member of First Baptist Church of Moncks Corner, Richard owned and operated Hyrne Heating and Air for 25 years. He was also an HVAC instructor for Trident Technical College. Richard served in the US Army Reserves and had been an avid deer and hog hunter prior to his illness.
