In the early morning hours of Wednesday, March 12th with her daughter by her side, Josephine Padgett was welcomed into Heaven by her Lord & Savior where she was reunited with her husband of 71 years, Teddy Padgett and her granddaughter, Julie Ballenger who both preceded her in death. Joanne was the only child of Marion Sims Judy and Louise Ray Judy of St. George, S.C. She graduated from St. George High School and attended Converse College as a voice major. She met and married Teddy and they both worked alongside her father, Sims at Judy's Rexall Drug Store in St. George. After Sims' retirement, the couple continued to operate the pharmacy.
