Terry was a Truck Driver is entire career and one of the things he was most proud of was that he drove in every continental state and all providences of Canada. The only place he didn't go was Hawaii. He worked for Mitchell Bentley out of Cadillac and then he was an owner operator and then finishing his career and retiring from Howes and Howes of Mesick. Grandfather to 12, and great-grandfather to 3. He had a deep devotion and love for his wife, and this extended to his entire family. Carl enjoyed his large family and liked to play games: pinochle, Parcheesi, perquackey, or puzzles. And always there were puns. He was a tool designer by trade and a gadget builder by hobby. Charles "Chuck" Christopher Rewald, 71, of Boyne City passed away Friday, May 7, 2021 surrounded by his children, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born to Clarence "Stub" and Ethel (Lanning) Rewald of Boyne Falls and spent much of his life in the Boyne area. Chuck graduated from Boyne Falls High School and went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education from Northern Michigan University. He then worked for the State of Michigan Liquor Commission out of Gaylord for over 20 years. Later in life, he moved downstate to the Port Huron area. Our mother, Myrtle L. Wasylewski, 96, was born February 5, 1925 to Ella (Johnson) and Chester Brannon in Boyne City, Michigan. She passed away April 30, 2021 at Boulder Park Terrace in Charlevoix, Michigan. On May 4, 1946 she married Vincent (Bill) Wasylewski. Vincent preceded her in death on July 3, 1990. Myrtle and Vincent are survived by their children: Barbara (Donald) Allerding, James (Ruth) Wasylewski; two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. We miss them dearly. Rest in Peace.

Tom enjoyed traveling, sailing, playing tennis and golf, listening to classical music, and reading historical novels. LTC Marvin W. Schwem passed away April 24th after a long illness. He was born on August 24, 1934 the son of Joseph and Elizabeth Schwem and lived in the Detroit area until he joined the army in 1959, serving 20 years with 3 tours in Vietnam. Marvin served in the army as a helicopter pilot and pilot instructor. It was his honor to fly two Presidents and numerous heads of state throughout his career. Glenda Dorene Planck, 82, passed away peacefully at home on April 13, 2021. She was born February 26, 1939 in Detroit, Michigan to Glenn and Jessie Planck. She moved to northern Michigan as a young girl and made her life in Boyne City. After graduating Petoskey High School in 1957, Glenda worked for Boyne Products followed by Honeywell where she would ultimately retire from. Victor Eugene Ayers (92) of Boyne City passed away on March 30, 2021 Victor was born on March 19, 1929 to Lucille and Clifford Ayers in Flint, Michigan. He lived in the lumber camps between Elmira and Gaylord until he was about 5 years old. The family then moved to East Jordan where he graduated from High School in 1947. He worked at the East Jordan Iron Works for several years, while also working at Eveline Orchards and at his Dad's garage. In 1959 he moved to Boyne City where he worked for A.R. Joanne Mongar went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Friday, February 26, 2021. Joanne was born to Norm and Norma Eiseman on September 9, 1933. She was a member of Fresh Fire Church in Boyne City where she served as a greeter, as well as performing many other tasks. Everyone who attended (members and visitors alike) loved being greeted by her lovely smile and friendly demeanor. Clarence Albert (Al) Toaz passed away on February 13, 2021, one day before his 95th birthday. Born on February 14, 1926 in Grand Ledge, Michigan to Clarence and Rosa (Pengelly) Toaz, he was the youngest of five siblings. After graduating from Grand Ledge High School, he enlisted in the Navy in early 1945 and served on the LST-881 during World War, on occupation duty near Japan. After the war, he attended Ferris State College, graduating with a degree in Pharmacy.
