Thomas James Burton, aged 75 of Quitman, passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2024. A memorial service for Mr. Burton will be held Saturday, October 5, 2024 at 11:00 AM in the Lowe-Gardner Funerals and Cremations Chapel in Quitman, Texas. Lodes was born on 08/14/1958, in Terrell, TX, to W. T. Dollar and Letta F. Golightly. Lodes served his country proudly in the Army July 77-June 79. Lodes most cherished accomplishment was his enduring love for his wife, Jane Sherrin, whom he finally married after 61 yrs of pursuing her. Service will be held at 11am, Saturday 4/13/24 @ Lowe Gardner Funeral Home.
