Albert H. Cheely, age 84, passed away Thursday, January 13, 2022. Albert was born April 26, 1937 in Petersburg, VA. He was the first son of the late James Robert Cheely and Mary Evelyn Clarke Cheely. Albert was preceded in death by his brother, James "Conway" Cheely. He is survived by his daughter, Margo Elaine Cheely of Newport News, VA; son, Steven Kelly Cheely (Jane) of South Charleston, WV; grandsons, Robert Kelly Cheely of Spotsylvania, VA, and Christopher Allen Cheely of Newport News, VA; and former wife, Bonnie Wilkinson Cheely.
