She was born on November 26, 1936 in Williamston, NC to Oma Faye Whitfield and Marshall Beach. She grew up in a household of nine children until she met and married Bill Wobbleton, with whom she shared 61 years of marriage and raised 3 children. He passed away peacefully at home in New Windsor after a brief illness while in the care and company of his family and friends.
