Sandra Ann Nylen (Sandy), born October 5, 1943, in Arlington, Virginia passed away peacefully on November 15th, 2023. Sandy spent much of her childhood in post-war Japan and Germany, attended Annandale H.S., became an airline stewardess; living in Olney she raised her family, and worked 30 years for the Montgomery County School system. Sandy was the wife of the late Allen J. Nylen (Sandy's other full-time occupation). Beloved mother of Edward and Christine, mother in-law to Joanne and grandmother to Henry. Joyce was born on February 9, 1932 in Broad Run to the late Clarence Arlington and Mildred Iona (Poffenberger) Huffer and graduated from Middletown High School, Class of 1950. Joyce lived her entire life in Broad Run either at her parent's home or later at her residence about a mile away. She helped her parents at their grocery store in Broad Run until its closing in 1965.
