Richard (Dick) Clayton Stockwell, age 77, of Janesville, WI, passed away peacefully on November 29, 2024, surrounded by his family. Born on June 11, 1947, he was the beloved son of Clayton and Irene (Dixon) Stockwell. Dick's roots in Janesville ran deep, where he graduated from Janesville Senior High School, before pursuing higher education at Lawrence University. At Lawrence, he excelled as a member of the swim team, an achievement honored with their recent induction into the Lawrence University Intercollegiate Athletic Hall of Fame. John Stark of Janesville, age 79, passed away on November 29, 2024 at home, with his wife and daughter by his side. John was born on May 11, 1945 to Joseph and Theresa Stark in Wausau, WI. He was the youngest of nine children. John grew up in Mosinee, WI and enjoyed fishing and being outdoors. He served in the Army Reserve for six years. John met Charlene at his twin brother's wedding and began driving down to Janesville every weekend from Mosinee to visit her. Lawrence "Larry" Entress, age 75, of Janesville, WI passed away Friday, November 29th, 2024. He was born to Elton and Rozellen Entress on July 16th, 1949, in Janesville, Wisconsin. He married his high school sweetheart Karen (Stenslien) Entress on September 6th, 1969. Larry worked for the City of Janesville, then at Seneca foods for many years. He was a dedicated fan of football and a lover of good food. Most importantly, he cherished his family and friends. Donald Roy Jones of Shopiere WI, went to meet the Lord on November 25th, 2024, at the age of 83 surrounded by family and friends at Alden Meadow Park in Clinton, WI. Don was born in Janesville on January 26th, 1941, to Jonas Charles and Signe Chrstina (Nordeng) Jones, he grew up in Janesville where he graduated from Janesville High School in 1959. Don then went on to college at UW Whitewater then transferred to Spencerian College in Milwaukee where he majored in business and graduated. Lisa Louise Dennis, with family by her side, peacefully went to be with Jesus on Friday November 8th, 2024. Lisa, 56, was born January 19th, 1968. Her parents are Robert and Colleen Dennis of Janesville. Lisa struggled with diabetes which led to her blindness for most of her adult life. She is a 1986 graduate of Evansville High School. While married to Darin Oliphant, she had their daughter Jaysie. Lisa, Darin and Jaysie lived abroad in Germany while Darin served in the military. Jaysie is currently living in Alaska. Ethel Jean Beinema of Janesville, WI passed away at Mercy Hospital on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at age 92. She was born on October 1, 1932, in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of Henry and Margaret (Lyke) Hoffman. She graduated in 1951 from Janesville High School. Ethel married James F. Beinema on July 19,1975. He preceded her in death on December 3, 2011. Ethel was formerly employed by Gibbs Manufacturing, Regal Beloit Corporation and retired from SSI Technologies. She and her husband, James, also farmed in LaPrairie Township. Ethel attended Shopiere Methodist Church and after it closed attended Shopiere Congregational Church. Jonah Randall Harris, age 57, of Janesville, WI died on November 5, 2024, at SSM St. Mary's Hospital, Janesville.
