On Thursday, October 13, 2022, J. Lynn Boyce, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully at home in Blanchard, OK. She was sixty-four. Born to Dr. Harry Sterling Boyd, Jr. and Carol Jean (Ansell) Shipley, Lynn graduated from the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma (USAO) earning a Bachelor of Information Technology degree and then went on to complete a Master in Business Administration degree at the University of Oklahoma. She was employed at USAO for 26 years, advancing to the role of Vice President of Information Services. Lynn married her husband, Timothy M. Earl Dean Parker, 84, of Blanchard, died Saturday, December 25, 2021, at his home. The son of Parmer E. and Alice I. (Allen) Parker, he was born March 23, 1937, in Honey Creek Township, Crawford County, Illinois. Earl's father died when Earl was seven years old and he started working at eight years of age delivering newspapers to help support his mother and himself. He worked all through school and graduated from Palestine High School in Palestine, Illinois in 1955. After serving in the US Army in the South Pacific as a wireman, he started working for Illinois Central Railroad.
