85, husband of Jane Jenkins Venis, passed away Monday, February 10, 2025. He was born on October 4, 1939 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Helen Barnes and Kenneth Venis. Mr. Venis studied at Purdue University, where he obtained his degree in engineering. He was a long-time civil engineer for Proctor, Davis, and Ray Engineering in Lexington, KY. Darrell Lynn Stinnett, 64, husband of Sherry Stinnett passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, in Lexington, KY. Additional survivors include his son, Michael (Robbie) Stinnett, Wilmington, NC; two sisters, Brenda (Bill) Walter, Nicholasville, KY and Melissa (Kent) McKay, Boyce, VA. He was born in Nicholasville, KY on December 8, 1960, to the late Vernon and Lenora Stinnett. He was a lifelong resident of Jessamine County. She was born in Cynthiana, Kentucky on February 20, 1936 to the late Herman Cleveland and Lucille Garnett Moore.
