She was born in Boca Raton, Florida, on January 9, 1958, to the late Barbara Hargrave Clement and Rev. Richard Clement. Mrs. Wilson was a member and deacon of First Baptist Church in Frankfort, where she actively sang in the choir and volunteered as a Spanish interpreter for the Clothes Closet Mission.
