Josephine "Jo" Van Stavoren, 85, of Henderson County, N.C., passed away on May 6, 2022. Born on July 25, 1936 in Henry County, VA., Jo was married to James Eugene Van Stavoren Jr. for 47 years prior to his death in 2004. They raised their children, Alice and Karl in Virginia, where Jo was an employee of Loudoun County School System and the founding secretary of the Leesburg Middle School. Jo loved spending time with her family, daughter Alice and her husband, Rick Brown, along with son Karl and his wife, Mary "Shannon." John Andrew Herrington, 41, of Flat Rock, NC went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 6, 2020 at his new home. He was born in Hines Hospital, Jackson, Mississippi. Graduated from Neuse Baptist Christian School in Raleigh, NC where he played soccer and basketball. He was a loving caregiver to his parents, Chaplain Al and Joan Herrington of Flat Rock, NC and his life was marked by constant Christian Service and Sacrifice. TOM DIXON, age 88, of Hendersonville, NC, passed away peacefully on February 12, 2020. Tom was born and raised in Hendersonville, NC. He was the son of Dr. Guy Dixon and Jennie Edney Dixon. He partnered with his brother in creating and operating the business of Panefold walls and doors for over 50 years. After returning to Hendersonville from serving in the Navy for 2 years, he married Jackie Gilliam in 1955. They moved to Florida to start their lives together, and were blessed with four wonderful girls, Teri, Tony, Melanie, and Jennie.
