On February 12, 2020, the Lord saw fit to call home his beloved son, Julius James Wright affectionally called "Jay" by his family. Julius was born to Elder Ossie and Julia Wright on February 19, 1943 in Ft. Pierce, FL. He attended the local schools of St. Lucie County, graduating from Lincoln Park Academy in 1962. He completed and received his A. S. Degree in Mortuary Science in 1975. He was employed as a licensed funeral director at Sarah's Memorial Chapel for many years and worked for many years in the same capacity at Stone Brothers Funeral Home. She was born on April 28th, 1933 to Fred & Nina Murray. She was a founding member of Unity Christian Choir and an active member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church. She retired from St. Lucie County working at the Savannas Recreation Park. All her loved-ones will have many memories of love, laughter, and trash-talking. Her memorial service will take place today February 14th at St. John Missionary Baptist Church at 6pm.

Cora Lucas Monroe, a retired educator of 30 years, passed away on February 2, 2020. She retired as a guidance counselor from Fort Pierce Central High School in 1980. A visitation will be held on Friday, February 7, 2020 at Stone Brothers Funeral Home from 3 - 6 p.m.. A Homegoing service will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at 11:00 a.m at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Riverview Memorial Gardens in Ft. Pierce.

Cindy L. Canady Bowers (62), died December 31, 2019 at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center. A Graveside service will be held on 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 13, 2020 at Oak Hill Burial Park, 4620 U.S. Hwy 98 S., Lakeland, Florida.

Frankie Mae Sayles a former banker of 30 years at Florida Bank now called Wells Fargo passed away December 25, 2019 on Christmas Morning. She was active in the school system dedicating her time to C.A. Moore Elementary School and Lincoln Park Academy for over 25 years. She also served as the event planner / organizer for the Lincoln Park Academy Golden Class Reunion committee. A Visitation will be held on Friday, January 3, 2020 at Stone Brothers Funeral Home from 3 - 7 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the 13th Street Church of God, Greater Faith. Burial will follow at Riverview Memorial Park in Fort Pierce.
