Born June 8, 1939, she lived a full and adventurous life, with homes across the U.S. and abroad, including North Carolina, Georgia, Washington, Connecticut, Belgium, and Florida. A graduate of DePauw University and a talented musician, Barbara was also an equestrian, avid reader, puzzle enthusiast, and gifted cook. She supported her husband, Lawrence Clarkson, throughout his distinguished aviation career with United Technologies and Boeing, and together they traveled the world.
