He was a kind, intelligent, determined and gentle man. He was a wonderful father. Andre was resilient despite having a hard life. Following the death of his mother when he was a young child, his young adult years were further marred by the whirlwind and horrors of the Second World War that left him alone and separated from family by an Iron Curtain in post-war Europe. Carol Jean Burdick, of Hoosick Falls, NY, passed away on July 24th, 2024 peacefully with family and friends at the Woodbridge Apartments. She died at the age of 73, succumbing to complications from Leukemia. Carol was born in Bennington, VT, November 26th, 1950.
