Richard Joseph Gelaznik, 68, passed away suddenly on February 25th, 2025, at the HCA Florida Largo Hospital. Richard was born April 19th, 1956, in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, the 3rd of 4 children born to Peter Gelaznik & Mary Collins Gelaznik. Richard grew up in Pittsfield, attending St. Charles School & St. Joseph High School. He spent his life working as a Union Carpenter in Pittsfield, marrying his wife Christina on August 14th, 2010. In 2014, Richard retired after 30 years of work, and the family moved to Largo, Florida, living life to the fullest, up until his passing. He fought cancer all four quarters and pushed the battle into overtime.
