Our beloved, vibrant, ever cheerful Eva left us on September 12th to dance with the angels in heaven. Eva always had a smile to give and will be greatly missed by her wide circle of family and friends. Eva Maria Grum of The Villages was born on May 10, 1940 in Klein Giesen Germany, near Hannover, to Marianne (Lipinski) and Johannes Wilk. She entered the U.S. in 1960 without any knowledge of the English language and worked in New York city as a store clerk. John Harold Dean, 92, of Homosassa, FL and formerly of Homes, NY died on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at his home. Mr. Dean was born on October 18, 1927 in Camden, NY and was the son of the late Harold and Mary (Allman) Dean. He served in the armed forces in the 1940's. When he moved to Homer, he worked at Brockway's and, went on to own and operate Dean's Transmission in Cortland, NY for many years. He retired as an automobile mechanic in 1993. Allen N. Aiken, 77, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2021 at his home in Citrus Springs, FL surrounded by his loving family. Allen was born on April 3, 1943 in Haverhill, MA to the late Neill Aiken and Lois Spaulding Ricker. He grew up in Georgetown, MA graduating from Perley High, class of '61. He attended Northeastern University and Worcester Polytechnic University. He married the love of his life, Judith Rollo, in 1963 and later settled in Epping, NH where he built their family home and raised their three beautiful children.
