Doris Jean Lanier-Newberry passed away quietly at home, Wednesday March 6th. She is survived by her husband, R.B. Newberry Jr. and one sister, Margie Carmichael. Her funeral service will be at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home in Brandon, on Friday evening, March 15th, visitation is at 6:00 PM.

Juanita Grissett Frink, 87, of Brandon, FL, passed away on February 10, 2024. Juanita (Nita) was born on May 23, 1936, to John and Elma Grissett in Geneva, AL. Along with her older brother Charles Grissett, twin sister Ouida Grissett and younger brother James Grissett the family set up residency in Seffner, FL in the early 1950's. Nita was predeceased by each of the family of 5, as well as nieces Karen Grissett and Stacey Grissett.She graduated from Brandon High School in 1955. She began her family in 1957 marrying Earl E. Barbara Moohan Yeninas, 79, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, November 8,2023. Born in New York City, Barbara was the daughter of the late Patrick and Ester Gallogly Moohan. Barbara leaves behind her loving husband of 47 years, John, son Vincent Podlaski, grandson Logan Podlaski, sister Margaret Wilkinson, devoted dog Ci Ci, and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents, brothers James and Patrick Moohan, and sister Trudi Leibovici. Besides her family, Barbara's greatest love was flying. Charles S. "Buck" Edwards Jr. passed away on September 23, 2023 at the age of 74, after a courageous battle with Parkinson's disease. Charles was born to Charles S. Edwards Sr. and Beatrice Morris Edwards on January 6, 1949. He grew up in Tampa, Florida attending Mitchell and Grady Elementary, Woodrow Wilson Jr. High and H. B. Plant High School graduating in 1967. He then went on to attend Florida State University graduating with a BA degree in Social Services and a Master's degree in Criminology.
