Robert E. Tinkle aged 81 passed away on January 27th, 2021. He was born Feb 1, 1939 in Logansport, IN to Floyd (Deb) Tinkle and Catherine Wood Tinkle. He was a graduate of Royal Center High School and served in the US Air Force following graduating. He married the former Lois Tatman of Royal Center and in 1969 relocated to Oliver Springs, TN. He worked at the Y-12 plant in Oak Ridge for 25 years, retiring in 1994. Bob Tinkle served the community in several ways, serving as Alderman, Scoutmaster and as a member of the Jaycees. Marjorie K. McNeillie, age 93 of Oliver Springs, passed away on Friday, February 14, 2020. She was born on September 21, 1926 in Peterborough Ontario, Canada. Mrs. McNeillie was a member of Oliver Springs United Methodist Church where she was an active member of Oliver Springs United Methodist Church women. She was also Youth Sunday School Teacher for many years at the church. She had worked at Oak Ridge Hospital for several years and retired from the Children's Clinic in Oak Ridge with over 30 years of service, working as an Office Manager for several years. Leonard Forster Wright Jr., age 99, went to Glory on January 17, 2020. Leonard was born on December 18, 1920 in Oliver Springs, TN to the late Leonard Sr. and Mable Wright. He enlisted as a young man at the age of 16 and served our country in both the Pacific Theater in WWII and Korean War. He retired in 1963 as Sergeant First Class and was a recipient of a Bronze Star during his Military career.
