Steve Glenn Ayers age 98, departed this life on Wednesday July 31, 2024. He was born on January 24, 1926. He was a loving husband of 56 years, and a loving father that enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a member of Grantsboro Baptist Church. Steve faithfully read his Bible every day. He proudly served his country in War World II in the US Navy. He worked for J.A. Jones Construction, building housing for workers at Oak Ridge during the Manhattan Project. She was the owner of H&R Block in LaFollette for 32 years. She also was a supervisor at Imperial Reading, and a substitute teacher. Roxie also taught Sunday School at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church along with many life-lessons to her children. She dedicated her life to God and her family.
