Vic, or "Mr. T" as he was known to his students, was born on September 1, 1953, in Teaneck, New Jersey. He graduated from Ft. Lee High School in Ft. Lee, NJ, where he was the Drum Major of the marching band, and went on to earn both his undergraduate and master's degrees from East Tennessee State University.
