Leona May Haukaas of Coker Creek, TN, passed away on March 6, 2026. She was born June 25, 1931, daughter to Leroy and Millie (Washek) Lenhart of Underwood, MN. Leona married Olaf Haukaas in November of 1952 and within a few years started their family. They spent 39 years together making a home in St Louis Park MN, traveling, sharing adventures with their children and serving their church and community. Upon retirement they continued to travel and lived between 2 homes: one in Mission, TX and the other in Wright, MN. After Olaf's passing Leona met Edwin Priem, Sr. and devoted the next 27 years to making memories with their combined families, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren....

Robert "Bobby" H. Morgan, Jr. passed away Saturday, October 18, 2025, with his family at his side. Born on April 2, 1952, in Sevier County, TN, Bobby was a member of Seven Islands Missionary Baptist Church. He loved racing, first starting with motorcycles followed by go-carts. He then moved to mini stock and pro-four classes at both 411 Motor Speedway and Smoky Mountain Raceway. Alice L. (Shuster) Hild passed in peace, August 20, 2025, at the age of 88 in Maryville, TN. Preceded in death by her husband, Helmut Hild, and siblings Helen, Edith and Ralph (Barbara Damasio) Shuster. Sister to Albert (Noreen Doyle) Shuster. Further survived by her nephews Mark and Keith Shuster. Born in Murrysville, PA, a graduate of Franklin Township High School, PA, (1954), and formerly a long-time resident of Garden City, NY, Alice will fondly be remembered as a caring and generous sister and aunt, avid gardener, proud teacher of mathematics at Roslyn High School, NY, and devoted member of the church and the Long Island Presbyterian Women's Council. Bobby Lynn Freeman, born 19 Jan 1942, in Newport News, VA, passed away peacefully in Maryville, TN on April 12, 2025. Bobby graduated from Warwick High School of Newport News, VA, in 1960. When the fish quit running on the Eastern Shore of Virginia at the end of that summer, he joined the Navy. After serving one tour of duty in Hawaii, he came home to find his way. Once home, he rejoined Parkview Baptist Church, where he met and married a hometown girl, Patsy Ann Miller, in 1965. After working his butt off at Sears with no recognition, he re-enlisted in the Navy, which is when his true legacy began. Ralph Bryant Cash, age 55, of Knoxville, passed away suddenly on Friday, February 14, 2025, of natural causes at his home. L. Lewis Simerly passed away on February 2, 2025, at the age of 85. Lewis was born in Maryville, TN on January 26, 1940. He played a part in bringing karate to Maryville and was a karate instructor with a 4th Degree Black Belt. Lewis was a Mountain Challenge Instructor at Maryville College and a yoga instructor. James "Eddie" Harris passed away on January 19, 2025, at the age of 76. Eddie graduated from Young High School and retired from Kerns Bakery when he decided to move to Blount County, TN.
