Rob was born to Marvin Fred and Betty Jane Clayton on Mother's Day 1967 in Vallejo, CA. He was the 9th child born, out of 10. Rob left this earth in the early morning of January 30, 2020 at just 52 years old and after a strong fight against head and neck cancer. Though he died cancer free, the war he waged fighting cancer took a toll and he lost his life wrapped in the loving arms of his family. Jake Sullivan Roman, 20, of Carson City, NV, died tragically on January 18, 2020 as a result of injuries sustained in a snowmobiling accident. He was born on January 20, 1999 in South Lake Tahoe, CA, the son of Blair and Susan Roman. He was a 2017 graduate of Carson High School and was currently a junior at UNR majoring in chemistry and minoring in math. Pauleta Emagene (Grinder) Souza, age 91, of Lovelock, Nv. passed away peacefully on Jan. 6, 2020 in Carson City. Pauleta was born in Talihina, Oklahoma on October 8, 1928 to Thomas Andrew Grinder and Clara Cox. As a toddler Pauleta moved with her parents and two older brothers, Clyde and Dale, to Marlow County, near Durant, Oklahoma where her parents were engaged in farming. In 1937, in an effort to escape harsh living conditions created by the Great Depression and the Oklahoma Dust Bowl, the family traveled Route 66 to eventually settle in Merced, California. Born on April 17, 1964 in Mountain View, CA passed away peacefully on October 11, 2019 in Reno, Nevada. He is survived by his grandmother, Caroline Escoto, father, Braulio D. Escoto, mother, Donna Alfonso, brother Edward Escoto (Tammy), sister Jennifer Rayment (AJ) and three sons, Joshua Escoto, Dylan Escoto and Nicholas Escoto. Richard L. Martinez, 73, died unexpectedly on the 20th of September 2019 at Carson City. Richard was born on December 23, 1945 in New York. He is survived by his wife Lilia Martinez, his children and grandchildren. Richard spent his life in the service of Law Enforcement. He was a golf enthusiast and organized fundraising golf tournaments for the Veteran's of Foreign Wars and the Republican Party. John "JB" was born to Ray & Mary Ross in Fort Smith, Arkansas at home with the help of a mid-wife. He came to Southern California with his parents at 7 years old, bringing all their belongings by car and camping on the side of the road. The family settled in Bell Gardens, California. As a young man, he loved to work and customize cars, especially his 1949 Ford and 1956 Chevy Bel Air. The family grew, and they made many trips to Bass Lake near Fresno, California, camping and water-skiing. John loved fishing, camping, hiking in the mountains and nature walks.
