He was a 1964 graduate of Green High School, served in the Army National Guard from 1965 to 1971. Wayne married Paddy (Hileman) on October 5, 1968. Wayne worked at Acro Tool & Die, as a tire builder for B. F. Goodrich, and in the testing department at Michelin Tire, until his retirement. Kate Wilkins, 97, passed away February 10, 2022. She was born October 11, 1924 in Akron to the late Houston and Leola Douglas. Kate was a lifelong resident of the Akron area, a graduate of Springfield High School and a retiree from the Co-op Grocery chain. Also along with her husband Grant, she ran her own furniture reupholstering business. Kate and Grant loved music and dancing, often spending their Saturday evening ballroom dancing at local nightclubs. Naomi Davis, 95, passed away February 3, 2022. She was born February 20, 1926 in West Union, West Virginia to the late Claude and Inez Gaskins. Naomi studied piano and organ and had her own studio for 50 years, in Green. She taught three generations of students. She was a devoted musician to Cottage Grove E. C. Church. Joyce Longworth, 93, joined her Heavenly Father and friends on January 18, 2022 at her home. Joyce lived her entire life on the lakes. She attended Coventry schools graduating in 1947.
