Vallie Strickland Tew 1948-2025 Vallie Strickland Tew passed away under the amazing care of Ohio's Hospice LifeCare on March 9, 2025. She is survived by her fiercely loving husband of 56 years James E. Tew and her three headstrong daughters Lydia, Robyn, and Erin. Over the years she amassed several sons-in-law, James E. Makofsky (Lydia), Douglas E. Laditka (Robyn), Dylan A. Ulis (Erin) and a slew of feisty grandkids (Riley and Rosalyn Makofsky, William and Anna Laditka, and Chase and Carter Ulis.) Terry B. Alkire, 67, of Shreve passed away Sunday, March 9, 2025, at his home. He was born on March 13, 1957, in Parkersburg, West Virginia to Jennison Russell and Verna Wiggins Alkire. On June 22, 1996, he married the love of his life Susan Goodrich-Clark. She survives. Terry worked as an Electrician for his entire career, starting at Electric Motor Service in Athens, for Hackworth Electric, Clark-Fowler Motor Service, McKelvey Equipment, Crowner Drilling and then returned to Hackworth Electric. Paul Philip Fischer, Jr., 83, of Wooster, entered into the hands of the Lord on February 24, 2024. He was born in Massillon, Ohio on July 31, 1940 to Paul and Edna (Heasley) Fischer. The family moved to Wooster when he was young. However, Paul never forgot his Massillon roots having been a proud and loyal Massillon Tiger football fan and season ticket holder for over 30 years. Mary L. Mulhollan, 91, formerly of Wooster passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2024. Mary was born June 18, 1932 in Wayne County, the daughter of Clarence and Gertrude Rohr Mulhollan. Rance D. Pea, 76, of Wooster passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at his residence. He was born on November 17, 1947, in Evansville, IN to Morris Dale Sr. and Regina Demeling Pea. On September 7, 1968, he married Terry Gorman. She survives. Rance proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.
