Wayne "Pete" Wendall Hershberger, Jr., 88, of Lodi, died Saturday, February 13, 2021 at his home. He was born January 12, 1933 in Wooster to Wayne Sr. and Dorothy Rhamy Hershberger. On June 12, 1965, he married Margaret "Maggie" Leatherman. She survives. Pete was a three sport letterman for Wooster High School and was on the undefeated 1949 team where he was known as "Pete the Toe" and is in the Wooster High School Sports Hall of Fame.
