Martha Louise Hazelett, 86 of Stow, passed away on November 8 after a brief illness. Dr. Joseph Edward Maybury passed away peacefully in his Deland, Florida home on Oct. 31, 2023. He was two days shy of his 95th birthday. Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Monday, Nov. 13 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peregrine's Church in Richfield. Robert (Bob) Lampert (72), of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away on October 26th after a courageous fight with pancreatic cancer. Bob was born on December 9, 1950 to Otto and Marie Lampert of Parma, Ohio. Bob graduated from Valley Forge High School in 1969 and worked as a printer for Hiney Printing Company for over 30 years until his retirement in 2008. Friends and family will tell you that Bob enjoyed the simple pleasures in life like watching any Cleveland sports, a game of cards, or a good old fashioned western movie. Loda M. Smith (NEE Sartor) passed away on October 23, 2023. Born May 19. 1937 to the late Louis and Loda Sartor, she was retired from Akron Children's Hospital. In addition to her parents, Loda was preceded in death by her husband, William Smith; brother, James Sartor; and niece, Debi Olson. She is survived by sisters, Mary Ann Sartor, Betty Olson, and Pat (Bill) Hoadley; nephews, Michael Sartor, and Rob Olson; and niece, Becky Scott.

Richard "Dick" Breiding, 95, of North Hill passed away peacefully at home on October 14. When your life starts as a farm boy on North Hill in 1928 and stretches across the Korean War (his mom swore the helmet caused his baldness), marrying a local girl and raising 12 children, you're going to store up some interesting anecdotes. But he was more than the sum of those stories. Although he was a loving, devoted son, he also moved outhouses in the middle of the night, talked his little sisters, Norrie and Annie, into being tossed down the steps in a crate and tried getting out of early cow milking with his little brothers, Dave and Lenny (he would only eat cereal with the real deal cream). ...

Wendy Faye Brewer, 74, of Silver Lake, died on June 19, 2023 after a long illness. Wendy was born on May 20, 1949 to Wendley Jacob Stason and Gertrude Mary (nee Thompson) Stason. She greatly enjoyed entertaining, live music, all forms of art, was an incredible cook, and was proud of her adept palate. She was an avid reader, news junkie, gardener, and a feminist ahead of her time. She had a long career in creative marketing. Joseph Verderico age 82 of Tallmadge passed away Monday June12, 2023. He was a lifelong resident of Akron and Tallmadge. He graduated from The University of Akron with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and worked at Goodyear for 35 years. He helped design the tires on the car of the future on display at Epcot. Robert Addison Hamilton, 75, of Tallmadge passed away on May 25, 2023. Born in Akron to the late Frank and Kate Hamilton, Robert attended Stow City Schools. After moving to Virginia, he graduated from Montevideo High School in McGaheysville, VA. Since the age of 13, he had a keen interest in automotive restoration - especially with '57 Chevy's and Corvettes. His unique talent was recognized by an early employer, Mr. Bowman of Bowman Chevrolet in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Mr. Bowman even sponsored his advanced training in auto restoration.
