Following graduation, he served two years in the U.S. Army stateside. He enjoyed working for Swenson's, owned 2 Country Kitchens, and worked in construction. He retired from Continental General Tire after 38 years of service. In his spare time, Ron enjoyed golf, was an avid sports enthusiast, and he enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
