Sue Epperson Daly, 90 of Apex, passed away on Monday, August 12, 2024. Sue was born on October 17, 1933 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to the late Thomas and Nancy Epperson. Sue has a Master's in Library Science from the University of Georgia. Sue enjoyed reading, spending time with her pets, family, and friends at Cambridge Village, and overseeing Cambridge's library. Patricia was born in Catrine, Scotland on May 20, 1933 to the late Thomas and Euphemia McGarry. She emigrated to the United States in 1954, eventually making her home in Pittsburgh where she lived for over 60 years. Patricia worked at The Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh in Oakland for much of her career, in between raising a family, volunteering at the local elementary school library, and serving as a PTA member. Dorothy Louise Johnson Hare passed away in her home surrounded by her daughters on November 2, 2022 at 11:33 am. She was 88 years old. Dorothy was born on September 11, 1934 in Ogden, Utah, the third child and first daughter of Arthur Lorenzo Johnson and Dorothy Elizabeth Coop. She married her sweetheart, Donald Boyd Hare, for time and for all eternity in the Salt Lake City Temple on March 18, 1953. Shirley L. Thomas passed away on July 4, 2022 at the age of 90. She is predeceased by her husband, Hollis A. Thomas. She is survived by her 3 children, Amy L. Johnson and her spouse Robert M. Johnson (favorite son-in-law), Glenn A. Thomas and his spouse, Tricia S. Thomas, and Stephen A. Thomas and his spouse, Carolyn M. Shields. Jack Theodore Gabler passed away in Atlanta, GA on March 30, 2022 at the age of 80 following a hard-fought battle with diabetes complications.
