She was born August 28, 1939 in Tyler, Texas to Pinkney and Lorene Prater Bryant. She graduated from Lindale High School in 1958. After graduating she started Walker Insurance Services and dedicated over 30 years to serving the insurance needs of teachers and school employees in North Texas. Mary Lucile Meehan was born on January 5, 1934, in Palestine, Texas and passed from this life on July 29, 2025 at her home in Whitehouse, Texas at 91 years of age with her loving husband of 70 years, Charles Cook, and her family at her side.
