Dr. Gerald Cope Drew, DVM, passed away on July 8, 2023 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on November 7, 1928, to Melvin Glen and Bessie Cope Drew in Pittsburg, Texas, where he grew up. He attended college at Sam Houston State where he earned a Bachelor and Masters degree in Agriculture and then earned a doctorate in veterinary medicine at Texas A&M University. He practiced veterinary medicine for 38 years. Gerald loved his family and was very proud of their accomplishments. He will be remembered with love for his kindness and loyalty. He was a good man. Larry Lee Miles was called home Friday morning June 2nd 2023 at the age of 91 while resting at home on the Miles family ranch. Larry was the son of Emmett and Maggie Miles. He was born at home on the Miles family ranch June 24th 1931. Describing his early days Dad wrote Pretty soon I came along with an older brother and a younger sister and we grew up barefooted and wild looking most of the time.
