LeRoy Freitag, age 91 of Belleville, WI passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at Cedarhurst in Verona. He was born on November 20, 1932 in Elkhorn, WI the son of Paul and Martha (Evenson) Freitag. LeRoy graduated from Elkhorn High School in 1951. He then served in the United States Army from 1953 to 1955 including service in Korea. Following his discharge LeRoy attended and graduated from Milton College in 1958 with a degree in Education. Doris M. Lahey, age 77 of New Glarus passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2023 at her home. She was born on May 3, 1945 in Farley, IA the daughter of Clarence and Stella (Klostermann) Kluesner. Doris graduated from West Dubuque High School in 1963. On October 28, 1967 she was united in marriage to Jerry Lahey at St. John's Catholic Church in Peosta, IA. Doris was a homemaker and also did in home daycare for many years. She was a member of the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Doris was an avid Cubs, Badgers, and Cowboys fan. Craig was born to Karl "Bill" William Kleinschmidt and Cathy (McSherry) Kleinschmidt on January 6, 1973, in Beloit, Wisconsin. Craig enjoyed Star Trek and all things sci-fi, watching sitcoms in his recliner (preferably with a cat on his lap), collecting varieties of Yeti cups and playing board games. She was born on July 31, 1944, at Luther Hospital in Eau Clarie, WI, the daughter of Leonard and Ethel (Mickelson) Losness. Jane graduated from Boyceville High School in 1962 and then attended UW-River Falls. On September 18, 1965, she married William Frieburg at the Hay River Lutheran Church in Wheeler, WI.
