Fredrick "Rick" Eugene Wyatt Jr., age 82, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away on October 11, 2025. Born on March 9, 1943, in Roanoke, Virginia, Rick proudly served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War aboard the USS Canberra and during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Following his military service, he became a successful entrepreneur, owning multiple businesses focused on the distribution and delivery of poultry products throughout the region. Rosa Huber Beard, 96, of Flowery Branch, GA, formerly of Buford, GA, died Thursday, July 11, 2024. Rosa was born in Weissenburg, Bavaria, Germany, on Feb. 23, 1928, in the tower of St. Andreas Evangelical Lutheran Church. A survivor of both cancer and a heart attack, she spent her final months courageously battling the effects of dementia and heart failure while living in the home of her son and daughter-in-law, supported by a team of medical professionals, compassionate caregivers and family members.
