Frank E. Bunnell, age 96, of Delavan, was called to his heavenly home December 28th 2025 at Holton Manor care facility in Elkhorn, WI. Frank was born July 20, 1929 in Calumet, MI and son of the late Erza W.and Helen M.(Trestrail) Bunnell. Born and raised in upper Wisconsin he graduated from Superior Central High in 1947 in Superior, WI, and shortly thereafter moved to Illinois to find employment. Frank was drafted and honorably serving his country in the US Army from 1951-1953. He had basic training as part of 501st regiment of the 101st Airborne division at Fort Breckinridge, KY. Laverne R. Friesema, age 95, of Lake Geneva passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at Vintage on the Ponds in Delavan. She was born in South Dakota on February 15, 1930 to John and Elizabeth (Kuiper) Logterman. She is the last of the John Logterman family. Laverne was a member of the Christian Reform Church for 76 years. She was married to George Friesema for 66 years. They moved to this area shortly after they wed and farmed here since. George passed away on November 18, 2015. Laverne also worked at Virchow-Krause Accounting for 30 years. Patricia "Patty" Hamill (formerly Seeman), age 74, of Delavan, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 28, 2025. Born and raised in Beloit, WI, Patty brought joy, warmth, and kindness to everyone she met. She had the biggest, brightest smile and a heart that welcomed all. Patty was known for her gracious spirit and the way she made everyone feel at home.
