73, of Denver, CO passed away on Nov 20, 2023, after an extended struggle with a brain disorder. She was born in Owatonna, MN in 1950 to Alfred and Dorothy Heil, the oldest of five siblings. Cleone attended Owatonna High School before studying nursing at Saint Mary's Nursing School, where she met her husband of 51 years, Paul Smith. They moved to Denver in 1972 and had two children. Cleone is survived by her husband Paul, children, Aaron (Michelle) Smith and Meghan (Will) Allen, grandchildren, Samuel and Elizabeth Smith and Brooke and Taylor Bentley as well as brother Brad Heil and sister Diane Asprey.
