He was a long-time resident of North Huntingdon, PA, and born on July 14, 1933, in McKeesport, PA, son of the late Clyde Edgar Stewart Jr. and Bessie A. Weinel. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Lester and Lawrence Stewart. Charles Frank Schmaus, 81, of North Myrtle Beach, passed away peacefully Friday October 10, 2025. Formerly of Lexington, VA, Charlie was born in Kittaning, PA the son of the late Charles A. Schmaus and Hedwig J. (Reich) Schmaus. He excelled in basketball, football, golf and tennis. He was also an avid Pittsburg Steelers fan. Charlie was a retired All-American basketball coach and player. After a three-sport career at the Virgina Military Institute, he was drafted by the Cincinnati Royals (now the Sacramento Kings) in the fourth round of the 1966 NBA draft. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of James J. Stanley on Sunday May 4, 2025, just 54 hours after receiving the diagnosis of adenocarcinoma of the pancreas. Jim was born in Columbia, Tennessee to the late Paul and Rosa Mae (Bell) Stanley on June 25, 1938. He graduated from Butler High School (Butler, PA) and worked for R. W.
