Lorraine F. Boffeli, 93, of Manchester, Iowa, passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2024, at the Good Neighbor Home in Manchester. She was born on April 7, 1931, at Earlville, the daughter of William "Bill" and Anna (Klinkner) Gibbs. Lorraine attended St. Joseph Catholic School in Earlville through 8th grade and then graduated from Earlville High School. On August 11, 1949, she was united in marriage to Allan Peter Boffeli in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Earlville. Six children were born into this union. Kevin was born on July 17, 1951, the son of Gerald and Marjorie (Knickerbocker) Perrinjaquet. After graduating from Edgewood-Colesburg High School in 1969, Kevin attended Wartburg College, where he earned a business degree in 1973. Upon graduation, he returned to Edgewood to become the third generation in the family business: The Edgewood Feed Mill. An active leader in the Edgewood community, Kevin served as a board member of the Edgewood Community Savings Bank, as well as the Edgewood Convalescent Home, where he served as president for many years. She was born on January 31, 1940, at St. Joseph's Mercy Hospital in Dubuque, the daughter of Clarence and Julia (Fangmann) Schlichte. Betty spent the first five years of her life near Bloomington, Wisconsin, when her family moved to their farm near Masonville. She first went to a one-room country school for two years and then completed her grade school at the Monti School. He was born on February 21, 1952, in Edgewood, the son of George and Ilo (Harbaugh) Totman. Rich was raised in the Edgewood area. He started his schooling at Oneida, then attended school in Greeley through 8th grade, graduating from West Delaware High School in 1970.
