Dorothy L. Kane, age 92, died peacefully on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at St. Mary's Care Center in Madison. Dorothy was born on August 10, 1932, in Cassville, Wisconsin. She was the daughter of Margaret Dressen and Reiner Hochhausen. She was raised in rural Cassville; graduated from Cassville High School. She loved to dance - especially the polka and performed in many plays. She worked for Ray Eckstein Law Office, was a guide at Stonefield Museum and worked as a bookkeeper for Wisconsin Barge Line. David was born July 9, 1951, in Montclair, NJ to George and Marion Thyren. He graduated in 1969 from James Caldwell High School in Caldwell, NJ and from Trinity College in Deerfield, Ill in 1973 with a bachelor's degree in Christian education and a minor in Music. She was born on September 8, 1950, the beloved daughter of Lincoln and Phebe (Streeter) Tollefson. Ann grew up on the family farm in Castle Rock Township near Fennimore, where she was the second oldest of seven siblings. Marilyn was born on July 25, 1939, in Boscobel, WI; the daughter of Dwight and Velma (Gilbertson) Kreul. Although she was an only child, Marilyn was always surrounded by her family, including 22 first cousins. She married Jerry Ketterer on August 31, 1957, at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Fennimore. She attended and graduated from Fennimore High School. On November 3, 1949, Dorothy was united in marriage to Clifford "Nipper" Cordts. He preceded her in death in 1996.
