Connie Mae Taylor, 84, passed away September 21, 2024. She was born May 29, 1940 in Barberton, the daughter of the late Roscoe and Connie Metzler. Connie will always be remembered as a caring mother and grandmother. She loved to go to her grandson's baseball games to cheer him on. In addition to her parents, Connie is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years William Taylor. She is survived by her children Jeffrey Taylor, Lynette Taylor, and Scott (Sandy) Taylor; grandson Justin Taylor; and her brother-in-law Bob Taylor. Private family services. Rosemarie Saloiye, 88, of Stow, Ohio, passed away peacefully in her sleep on August 16, 2024. She was born to the late Elizabeth and John Regec. On February 11, 1956, she married John Saloiye. Together they share 59 years of marriage. She and John had 3 sons. Rosemarie graduated from Garfield High School in Akron, Ohio. She then worked for K-Mart for many years. Rosemarie was a member of Holy Family Church for over 60 years. She loved spending time with her family and friends, camping, going on day trips, and reading a good book. John Felkl, 98, passed away July 31, 2024. He was born March 8, 1926 in Krndija, Yugoslavia, the son of the late Martin and Anna Felkl. John "Hansi" met his wife Juliana at a dance in Austria and they spent the rest of their lives together. They arrived in the United States in 1952 and John enjoyed a long and successful career at Louisiana Pacific. Martha Ann Miller, age 83, formerly of St. Mary's and Piqua, was born Martha Hamilton on August 2, 1940 and raised in Norton, OH. Employed at Ohio Edison, she met aspiring electrical engineer Richard Lee Miller. They married on October 31, 1959 and together raised two children, Kenneth (Tammy) Miller and Kimberly (James) Gorrell. She passed peacefully at her home on Thursday, May 16, 2024 with her daughter by her side. The family will hold a private wake June 21, 2024 on the 25th anniversary of Richard's passing. Hans John Rennu, age 86 passed away on January 24, 2024 at Hospice in Medina, Ohio. He was born on August 15, 1937 in Rakvere, Estonia. After serving in the Air Force he became a welder at Terex. John enjoyed woodworking and cars. He is survived by his wife, Marjorie, sons Timothy (Kimberly), Christopher (Brandy) and his grandchildren Victoria, Samantha and Jesse Rennu and JR Setlock. A memorial service will be held and his ashes placed in the wall at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Neal Johnson, 85 of Akron, Ohio, a proud veteran of the United States Army, passed away peacefully in his sleep on January 23, 2024.
