A member of the Seneca community all her life, she was passionate about preserving the history of the community through her work with the Lunney and Bertha Lee Strickland Cultural Museums. James Thomas Cosby, Jr. age 86, born in Cairo, Georgia passed away on November 1, 2018. He was the son of James Thomas Cosby and Eula Clarissa Todd. He graduated from Seneca high school in 1951, where he also played on the basketball team. He was a member of Seneca Presbyterian Church. He enlisted in the US Navy in 1951 and served on the USS Henderson and the USS New Jersey. He attended ship reunions for both ships in the years following his service.
