Diane graduated from Constantine High School in 1982 and continued her education at Southwestern Michigan College, earning an Associates Degree in 1984. Diane was employed in the accounting department at Interstate Mfg. in Mottville since 2013. Prior, she was employed as a legal secretary for the law firms of Dale E. Pamela Kay (Bakehorn/Townsend) Harman, age 70, beloved wife and mother, passed away peacefully October 9, 2021 at her home. She was born September 29, 1951, and grew up in Wabash, IN with her parents, Joseph and Barbara (Martin) Bakehorn and sister Linda. Pam resided in Elkhart, IN for over 20 years where she worked as a house painter. She later cleaned houses while raising her children. Her recent years were spent in Union, MI with her husband Tim after their marriage on June 24, 2006. Delton Hershberger, 66 of Centreville, passed away on May 12, 2021 at his home. He was born in Elkhart on November 3, 1954, a son of Herman and Maryellen (Shipman) Hershberger. He graduated from High School in South Bend and went on to serve in the U.S. Army and National Guard. Delton was a jack of alll trades, and worked for Alco Steel in South Bend and Uniroyal of Mishawaka. Delton is survived by his sons Dominic, Scott, and Troy Hershberger; many grandchildren; brothers Daniel, Dwayne, and Douglas Hershberger; sister Deborah Cannon; and numerous foster and adopted brothers and sisters. Joan Cecelia (Falvey) Carlson was born at home in Knox, Indiana on June 21, 1923 to James P. and Gertrude Falvey, and died at home in Constantine, Michigan on February 13, 2021. Joan grew up in a wonderful household in Knox with siblings Bill, Jean, Kenny, Jan, Joyce and Tom (with another sister, Margaret, dying in infancy). 

Joan had a life-long passion for poetry and songs, and as a young girl learned many 19th century songs and poetry from an old neighbor. Timothy J. Pote, 62 of Constantine, passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at his home. He was born on June 27, 1958 in Animosa, IA, a son of Tom and Kathryn (McNamara) Pote. Tim obtained a Bachelors of Science Degree from Indiana University, South Bend, with a double major in History and Political Science. In 1986, he married Diane Kruk; they were later divorced. Tim was co-owner of Castaway Iron and Metal in White Pigeon. He formerly worked for Sturgis Iron and Metal and Himco Waste Away. Robert James Babcock Jr. Age 66 Chapin, SC formerly of Union, MI died peacefully at his home February 22, 2020. He was born January 26, 1954 in South Bend, IN a son of Robert and Sheila (Gustafson) Babcock Sr. Robert graduated from Constantine High School in 1972.
