She was the daughter of Celeste Dorothy Brockmiller Sash and William Harold Sash of Trenton, Michigan. The ninety-two years spent on earth were filled with her insatiable appetite for learning and an upbeat demeanor that motivated her to know no stranger and a curiosity of all creation. Garland Lee, 73, of Houston, Texas, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, August 25, 2024. Garland was born on August 17, 1951, in Memphis, Tennessee. He received his formal education from Memphis Public Schools (Douglass High School). After graduation, he enlisted and honorably served in the United States Army. He was stationed in Germany for most of his military career, where he developed a lifelong love for respiratory medicine. Garland worked as a licensed Chief Respiratory Therapist for many years for various hospitals, medical facilities, and was employed with Hermann Healthcare System, treating home health patients in until his retirement in 2012. Frances was born in Lovelady, Texas on June 30, 1932, to the late Aaron Thomas Searcy and Roxie Mae Goldman Searcy. Frances grew up in Houston, Texas. She married Merrill Ray "Mickey" Bowers in 1951 and had two daughters in this marriage, Scheron Kay and Lynnette Gaye. Mickey went to be with the Lord on July 28, 2009.
