Delma Faye Fitzsimmons Sanchez, 93, of Booneville, passed away on Monday, January 6, 2025, after a long life filled with faith, family, and love. She was born on August 5, 1931, in Prentiss County, she was the daughter of the late John William Thompson (Pappy) and Lillian Victoria Whitaker Thompson (Mammy). Mrs. Delma retired from General Motors in Chicago, IL and returned to Mississippi where she raised her family who affectionately called her "Maw D".
