Reba Wayne Chambers (79) was born April 23, 1944, to Henry and Cordie Elizabeth Rowe. She passed away Friday, November 24, 2023 in Tupelo, MS. She married Fred "Doc" Chambers November 3, 1967. After the death of her husband in 1971, she was left to raise three children. Along with those children, she helped her nieces and nephews raise many of their children who lovingly referred to her as Aunt Wayne. She was a strong independent woman who loved her family deeply. She especially loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brought her so much joy. She attended Victory Baptist Church in Pontotoc, MS. She loved God and read her Bible faithfully. Tommy Harold Parker (77) passed away Friday, November 17, 2023 at the Baldwyn Nursing Facility. He loved spending time with his family and taking care of his cars. He was a die hard Ole Miss fan. He is survived by his sons, Bryan Parker and Bobby Parker (Debbie); his brother, Travis Parker (Melissa); his grandchildren, Joel Parker (Kayla) and Brooke Gober (Kyle) and his great-grandchildren, Hallie Gober and Dawson Gober. He was a 1961 graduate of Frayser High School in Memphis, TN. He worked for Redball Frieght Lines, Memphis Hub, for 22 years as rate clerk/office supervisor. He returned to Memphis State fulltime and worked at Gordon's Truck Lines in Memphis at nights as rates clerk.
