Sandra R. Guidon, 84, of Carlisle, died unexpectedly on Friday, February 3, 2023, at UPMC Carlisle. She was born on August 18, 1938, in Harrisburg and was a daughter of the late Ray and Alma (Comp) Ulsh and the widow of Joseph P. Guidon who died in Dec. 4, 2007. Sandy graduated from Newport High School and the Maryland Medical Secretarial School. She worked in the legal and medical fields for many years including the Cumberland County Courthouse. Rev. Robert E. "Bob" Putt, Sr., 87, of Carlisle, passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at Chapel Pointe Nursing Home in Carlisle. He was born on September 6, 1935 in Carlisle and was a son of the late Ethel A. E. (Cornman) Putt and Wilber E. Putt. Bob graduated from Boiling Springs High School class of 1953; and the Appalachian Bible College, Beckley WV, in 1972. He was ordained to the ministry at Faith Chapel of Carlisle in 1973. Rev. Elizabeth J. Fowler was born December 28, 1921, in Ithaca, NY to Elizabeth and Clinton Jenkins. Betty, as she was known, and twin brother, Martin, were inseparable and very much doted upon by their large extended family. To preserve a sense of normalcy, Elizabeth and Clinton moved their new family to Philadelphia when the twins were young. Paul C. Beierschmitt, 71, of Carlisle, passed away on January 12, 2023, at Penn State Holy Spirit Medical Center, Camp Hill.
