Kitty went home to the Lord March 31, 2021. She was predeceased by her husband and forever love, Gabriel Thomas, in 1993. Kitty was born on February 12, 1932 to her parents, Peter and Stamatia Fournaris. She was raised in Corona, Queens, NY. She grew up with her brother, Harry Fournaris (Stella), and her sister, Evelyn Riboni (Frank), who both predeceased Kitty, and her wonderful cousins, aunts, and uncles. Born in St. Augustine, Florida, on January 6, 1939, he was a twelfth-generation member of the oldest documented family in the United States. While a native of the "oldest city" with family among the earliest settlers, his life's journey would take him all over the world. After graduating from St. Joseph Academy in 1956, he enlisted in the United States Army, later attending Officer Candidate School. This February 7th, Peter Steven Landry took his final breath, surrounded by his loved ones. The sun rose and the world welcomed Peter on February 18th, 1957, a day the world became a little brighter. Peter lived a full and warm life, filled with compassion. Peter served his country as a Security Forces Specialist, Military Police, in the United States Air Force. St. Petersburg native John Spencer Lucas III, 70, passed away at home on December 14, 2020 after a decade long battle with Parkinson's disease. Spencer was the youngest fire captain ever promoted by the Charlotte Fire Department. He served the department for 28 years. During his years in Charlotte, NC, he was also a sought after photographer. Upon retirement, Spencer and his wife, Alice, returned to St. Pete where they lived many years in his child at home on Pass-a-Grille Beach. Here, his compassion for photography continued to flourish.
