Marilyn "Midge" Arlene May, 84, of Nederland passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2024, at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas, surrounded by her family. Midge was born on November 16, 1939, exactly two minutes before her identical twin sister Carolyn, to Margie Evelyn Way and Vernon E. Way in Beacon, New York. She graduated from Beacon High School in 1957 and on May 30, 1964, she married her husband John E. May. They moved to Texas in 1966. Timothy Haven Hicke was born October 28, 1943, in LaCrosse, Wis. Tim pastured churches in Texas, Okla., Calif. and the state of Washington. His last pastorate was at the Bethel Methodist Church of Port Neches, Texas, where he lived until his death. He loved the Port Neches people and often remarked that God had saved the best until last.
