Gerald "Jerry" Ehrman died on July 3, 2022, at his home. He was born on January 29, 1942, in Erie, PA, and was the son of Philip and Marguerite Ehrman. Jerry worked for DuPont Chemical Company, for over forty years, before retiring. In his retirement years, he was an amazing volunteer. He was a board member for Southeast Texas Hospice and a faithful member of the Knights of Columbus Council 13825. He devoted hours of his time to both St. Francis of Assisi Church and St. Mary Catholic School. You could catch him serving at the Knights of Columbus Lenten Fish Fries or fixing whatever he could, at St. Mary Catholic School. Thomas Francis Rooney, Sr., age 81 of Orange, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 in Beaumont, Texas. Family and friends will gather for a visitation from 12:00 PM to 3:000 PM on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Dorman Funeral Home. Funeral services and burial will be held in Summerville, South Carolina. Thomas was born in Johnson City, Tennessee on February 6, 1940 to Bertha Rhea Rooney and Charles Francis Rooney. She is preceded in death by her parents, Dave C. Johnson, and Slanie (Brown) Johnson, her husband, Carl C. Elliott, Sr, sisters, Lavern Fleetwood, and Jeanette Rice.
