George Arthur Bissinger, 84, of Greenville, North Carolina, passed away on April 22, 2025. George was born in Pennsylvania to John A. Bissinger and Rosella Minick Bissinger on August 27, 1940. George attended the University of Chicago, DePaul University, and Notre Dame, with post-doc work at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and Rutgers University.
